Music composer & artist Mira Calix has commissioned 4 of my original 1920s great grandmother’s “Inès” cloche hats, for her live performance at the British Film Institute, on Sept 27th 2012 (as part of the “Genius of Hitchcock” season).
Mira and vocal trio Juice Ensemble performed the live score to Hitchcock’s newly restored “Champagne” (1928). It was truly remarkable and I’m very proud to have helped turn the 4 girls into flappers for the show.
